How to Setup Security notifications
SUMMARY
Configure automated alerts to security personnel when specific events occur, such as a VIP arrival, or persons of interest.
STEPS
1. Assistance / Panic Alerts:
* Navigate to User Interface > Display > Custom Alerts.
* Enable alert button (tablet only) Toggle this setting On to display it on the iPad.
* Customise the SMS/Email message (e.g., "Security required at Reception").
* Enter the mobile numbers in the Recipients field.
2. Marking a Visitor as a VIP or person of interest:
* Go to the Signed-In list (or visitor search).
* Click a visitor's name to open their profile.
* Toggle the "Potential security risk" option. This will flag them for future visits.
COMMON CONFIGURATIONS
* Silent Alerts: Custom alerts on the iPad can be configured to be silent (visitor doesn't know security was notified).
VALIDATION CHECKLIST
* Press the Assistance button on the iPad. * Confirm the listed mobile number receives the SMS immediately.
TROUBLESHOOTING
* Problem: No SMS received. * Fix: Check the country code format of the mobile number in Recipients. Verify SMS credit balance.
