• You are logged in to the VisitUs dashboard.
• The QL-820NWB printer is connected to the same network as the iPad.
• You know the printer's IP address.

Configure printer settings
SUMMARY
Configure the QL-820NWB printer in the dashboard to enable badge printing for visitors.
STEPS
1. Go to Location Settings in the left navigation sidebar.
2. Click on the Printers tab.
3. Locate the QL-820NWB (or similar model) configuration section.
4. Enter the IP Address of your printer.
* *Tip*: You can find this on the printer by navigating to Menu > WLAN > WLAN Status > Infrastructure Mode > IP Address.
5. Select the Access Point (e.g., Main Entrance) where this printer is located.
6. Choose the Label Type (Roll Type) that matches the paper inside your printer.
* Common types: 62mm – Black Only or 62mm – Red/Black.
7. Set the Badge Length (e.g., Standard, Large).
8. Click Save or Update to apply the changes.
VALIDATION CHECKLIST
– The dashboard settings match the physical printer configuration.
– A test print from the iPad works correctly.
TROUBLESHOOTING
– Problem: Printer doesn't respond.
– Fix: Ensure the iPad and Printer are on the same network (subnet). Check that "Local Network" permission is enabled for the VisitUs app in iPad Settings.
– Problem: Prints are blank or cut incorrectly.
– Fix: Verify the Label Type in the dashboard matches the actual roll loaded in the printer. If you encounter a wrong label type error, remove the label roll, restart the printer, and then reload the correct roll.
