Create a new type
SUMMARY
Create a new visitor or employee sign-in type (e.g., Contractor, Volunteer, Staff).
STEPS
1. Go to Go to Sign-in Types in the left navigation sidebar.
2. Expand the Sign-in Types menu.
3. Click on the + Add New button at the bottom of the list (or Add Sign-in Type depending on your view).
4. Enter the name of the new sign-in type (e.g., "Contractor").
5. Select a base template or copy settings from an existing type if available.
6. Click Add.
7. You can now configure specific questions, workflows, and badge printing options for this new type.
TROUBLESHOOTING
– Problem: I cannot see the "Add New" button.
– Fix: Ensure you have Admin permissions. Some legacy plans may have a limit on the number of sign-in types.
