PREREQUISITES
* Admin access to the dashboard.
* iPad kiosk is linked and online.
SUMMARY
Allow visitors and contractors to sign in remotely using their personal mobile devices, either via a link or by scanning a QR code on the iPad.
STEPS
1. Log in to the dashboard and go to User Interface.
2. Enable Remote Sign-in:
* Click on the Device Connection tab (default).
* Find the Sign In/Out Link & QR section on the right.
* Toggle Remote sign-in to Enabled.
3. Show Button on iPad (Optional but recommended):
* Click on the Display tab, then the Layout sub-tab.
* Under Quick actions, check the box for "Show the Contactless QR code".
* This ensures a "Mobile" or QR code button appears on the iPad home screen.
4. Click Save or Update Changes.
VALIDATION CHECKLIST
* Open the unique sign-in link on a mobile phone (found in Device Connection). * Verify the mobile sign-in flow loads correctly.
TROUBLESHOOTING
* Problem: Link leads to a 404 or inactive page. * Fix: Ensure "Remote sign-in" is actually toggled ON in Device Connection.
