PREREQUISITES
• You are logged in to the VisitUs dashboard.
• You have an iPad with the VisitUs App installed.
SUMMARY
Enable facial recognition on the iPad to allow returning visitors and staff to sign in quickly by scanning their face.
STEPS
1. The first time a user signs in manually on the iPad *after* facial recognition is enabled, the system will capture their photo (if photo capture is enabled in Security settings).
2. Alternatively, an admin can upload a photo to the user's profile in the dashboard.
3. On subsequent visits, the user can use the Facial Recognition button (or auto-scan) to be identified and signed in.
VALIDATION CHECKLIST
– A "Facial Recognition" button appears on the iPad (if "Always on" is disabled).
– The camera activates when the button is pressed.
TROUBLESHOOTING
– Problem: Option not found.
– Fix: Ensure you are looking in User Interface > Returning, not in the individual Sign-in Type settings.
