• You have access to the iPad to verify changes.

Enable Text to Voice
SUMMARY
Enable text-to-voice feedback on the iPad to greet visitors or confirm actions audibly.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This feature configuration may no longer be available directly in the web dashboard or may have moved to the VisitUs App settings on the iPad itself. If you cannot find these settings in the dashboard, please check the "Settings" menu within the VisitUs app on your iPad.
STEPS
1. Go to Sign-in Types.
2. Select the sign-in type you wish to edit (e.g., Visitor).
3. Click on the Sign In/Out Options tab (or check User Interface > Display > Custom Alerts).
4. Look for an option labeled Text to Voice, Speak confirmation, or similar.
* *Note*: As of the latest dashboard update, this specific toggle might not be visible in the web UI. It is recommended to check the iPad App Settings directly if not found here.
5. If available, toggle the setting to On.
6. Click Update Changes or Save.
VALIDATION CHECKLIST
– When a visitor signs in, the iPad speaks the confirmation message.
TROUBLESHOOTING
– Problem: Feature not found in dashboard.
– Fix: Open the VisitUs App on the iPad -> Tap the logo 3 times to access settings -> Check for 'Text to Speech' or 'Sound' options locally.
