Sign in and Sign out confirmation messages

SUMMARY

Customize the success messages displayed on the iPad after a visitor signs in or out.

STEPS

1. Go to Configure System -> Sign-in Types.

2. Select the sign-in type you wish to edit (e.g., Visitor).

3. Click on the Core tab (if not already selected).

4. Click on the Sign In/Out Options button.

5. Go to the Messages tab (usually the default first tab).

6. Edit the text in the Sign-in success message and Sign-out success message fields.

7. (Optional) Toggle Prefix sign-in message with 'Hi First Name' to personalize the greeting.

8. Click Update Changes or Save to apply the settings.

VALIDATION CHECKLIST

– Sign in on the iPad and verify the new message appears.

TROUBLESHOOTING

– Problem: Message didn't update.

– Fix: The iPad may take a few minutes to sync. Try reloading the iPad app by tapping the top-left logo 3 times > Reload.
